Important Update Regarding the Whistler Airbag – Summer 2026
We have some difficult news to share. Unfortunately, we won't be able to operate this upcoming summer.
Whistler Blackcomb is undertaking a major renovation of their snowmaking equipment over the next few months. While we initially expected to have electricity during this construction, it turns out that the power across the site must be completely shut off for the summer.
We spent a lot of time exploring alternative solutions to see if we could make it work for our guests, but we hit a few immovable roadblocks:
Site Infrastructure: In areas where we looked to adapt, we encountered solid bedrock that prevented any digging.
Equipment Constraints: Our airbags simply wouldn't fit in the alternative spaces available.
Power & Safety: We even looked into high-capacity generators, but our power requirements are too large, and the resulting fire risk was a hazard we aren't willing to take.
Because of these constraints, we had to make the difficult decision to pause operations for the season.
We are incredibly sorry to disappoint those of you looking to progress your riding this summer. Please know this isn’t the end; we are simply hitting "pause" while we work toward a more permanent setup.

Located at the base of Blackcomb here Free parking here and you can roll down the to the airbags, it is a ten minute push back up.
Before booking any WFMBike product, event, session, and/or a lesson you are required to read and agree to our WAIVER. You will also be required to sign a paper waiver on arrival.
You can purchase a drop-in, punch cards or a season pass.

1 hour session $30
3 hours for $50
Full Day for $60

All punch cards - are for all day access. EXCEPT DURING PEAK SEASON AND EVENTS LIKE CRANKWORX - 3 hour maximum per rider per day during busy times.
5 time punch card - $235
10 time family punch card - $420
Locals Pass also known as a seasons pass, are for all day access all summer long. EXCEPT DURING PEAK SEASON AND EVENTS LIKE CRANKWORX - 3 hour maximum per rider per day during busy times.

****WFMBike Policies - All cards, passes are non transferable, except punch cards. Which may be shared amongst family members and friends who were named at the time of purchase. No refunds on seasons passes or punch cards after first use.
***All refunds subject to processing fees.
All private bookings require a 50% deposit when booking.
Two week prior cancelation- you receive 75% refund.
1 week prior-50% refund.
No refunds for any cancellation under a week.
Private bookings available for parties, coaching, bike clubs, bike industry events.
Instructors available for private events, parties.
Family/Friends as spectators are welcome for parties, private events.
